Introducing MEET’s Newest Staff Members!

Philip Weiser, Director of Development

In June, Philip Weiser joined MEET as Director of Development. Working from Boston, Massachusetts, Philip leads MEET’s fundraising initiatives and relationships with individuals, foundations, corporations and governments. Prior to MEET, Philip worked at Oxfam America. He holds a B.A. in Government from Clark University and a C.E.P. in Political Science from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.

Philip is a Swiss-American who has lived in Switzerland, Australia, Japan, France and the US. He also has a tie to the Middle East: One of his grandfathers emigrated from Ottoman Palestine to Cairo, where he founded Weiser Laboratory in 1909. Philip is an avid alpine skier and is passionate about his photography work.  He is delighted to have joined the MEET family.

Moran Chen, Alumni Relations Coordinator

In August, Moran Chen joined MEET as Alumni Relations Coordinator. Moran develops and coordinates MEET’s alumni programs, events and communications. Prior to MEET, Moran worked as a facilitator in a joint project of Keren Dorot and the Academy-Community Partnership at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Moran holds a B.A. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.A. in Gender Studies from Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) and an M.A. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Outside of MEET, Moran is active with a women’s group that advocates for social change in Jerusalem.
